Current Responsibilities
Eric Bjelland joined Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq in 1993 and has more than 25 years experience in selling retail and net lease investment properties. He has been involved in more than 100 transactions comprising over 11 million square feet and $2 billion in value. He has sold both institutional-quality properties and “value-added” assets. Some of Eric’s repeat institutional clients include American Realty Advisors, Invesco Realty Advisors, Prudential Insurance Company, James Campbell Company, TA Associates Realty and RREEF Funds.
Professional and Community Involvement
Eric has been involved in all aspects of real estate investment. He serves as an officer of three L.L.C.s that own retail assets valued at more than $20 million. He is a former board member and treasurer of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA). Eric has been the featured speaker on the investment market at the annual MSCA Research Symposium since 1993 and is a contributing speaker for NAIOP, CCIM and the Appraisal Institute.
Eric is an active member of his church, serves youth in his community through his involvement in the schools, Boy Scouts and youth sports. He is active in his local political precinct and participates in fundraising for the ALS Minnesota Chapter.
Education
Eric graduated from DePauw University in 1988.
